How do I set up my email account?

First, if you haven't already done so, you will need to contact Wave Mechanix, and let them know that you need a new email account set-up. Please state the name that you would like to have (ie:john.doe@domain.com).

You will receive a confirmation email that states the username and password. You can now choose an application to view your email. We recommend Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.

To set up your account in Outlook, click on 'tools' and then 'accounts'. This will open a pop-up window that requires your input. Click on the 'add' button and select 'Mail'. Follow the directions on the screen. If you are a National Net customer, your server information should be as follows:

POP 3
Incoming mail: mail.national-net.com
Outgoing mail: Please check with your internet service provider.
Account Name and Password were included in your confirmation email from Wave Mechanix.

Choose the default values for the rest of the items in the wizard, and click 'finish'. If you have any problems feel free to contact Wave Mechanix.

My website is not working. What do I do?

Don't panic. Contact Wave Mechanix, (or use our Live Support from 8:30AM to 5:30PM EST on the Wave Mechanix Home Page) and let them know you are experiencing difficulties with your web site. What you are experiencing could be due to a variety of issues. Under most circumstances, your site should be running again within 24-48 hours.

How do I check my traffic statistics?

The web address to check statistics will vary based on where your site is hosted. We have steered away from our old statistics application due to it's unreliability. We now use AWSTATS. If you are a National-Net customer, you can view your stats by going to (where 'yourdomain' is your domain name):

http://www.yourdomainname.com/stats/awstats.html

All other customers and those having problems should contact Wave Mechanix, and let them know you are experiencing difficulties accessing your statistics page.

How do I check my Maintenance progress each quarter?

The web maintenance time is kept at - http://www.wavemechanix.com/hourtally/

Select your domain name from the list and click "submit"

All maintenance customers should contact Wave Mechanix, for a user name and password.
