The City of Conyers was incorporated in 1854, and the present population of the City is
approximately 8,000. The City of Conyers encompasses the Historic Olde Town district as well
as the thriving commercial areas along Georgia Highway 138.
STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
The citizens of Conyers created the City for the purposes of enhanced services and a better quality
of life. Therefore, the employees of the City of Conyers have a duty and responsibility to provide
