A forward-thinking administration leads the City into a new age of growth and sustained quality of services. Elected by City residents to serve four year terms, theMayor and City Council are responsible for leadership and development of City policies. The daily operations of the City are carried out under the direction of the City Manager Rebecca Woolcot. It is the responsibility of the City Manager to ensure that all rules and regulations governing the City, as adopted by the Mayor and City Council, are implemented. Reporting to the City Manager are six department directors who are responsible for the supervision of the City's 128 employees. Dedication to service is the main goal of the City of Conyers. Our citizens come first. It's this dedication to service that makes life in the City of Conyers a quality experience. Services offered by the City of Conyers to its citizens are Police Services, Public Works, Planning & Development and Public Affairs and Tourism. In addition, the City of Conyers also owns and operates the Georgia International Horse Park, a premier entertainment and recreational facility known for its blockbuster concerts, festivals, fairs, and sporting events.
